Luxury Collection
Passion, Sun & Style
Spain is a country of glorious contrasts, the glamour of Marbella's Golden Mile, the wild pine-scented hills above Ibiza Town, the dramatic mountain backdrops of Mallorca's Serra de Tramuntana, and the pintxo bars and Guggenheim of the Basque coast. What these places share is sunshine, extraordinary food, and a joie de vivre that makes Spain one of the most enjoyable destinations in the world.
At the luxury end, Spain has long delivered. The Marbella Club is one of Europe's great beach resorts, nearly 70 years old and still setting the standard for effortless Mediterranean glamour. Mallorca has quietly become one of the Mediterranean's most sophisticated island destinations, with Belmond La Residencia in Deià defining the island's finest hotel experience. Ibiza, beyond the clubs, offers some of the most dramatic clifftop and cove settings in the Mediterranean, with a new wave of design hotels that attract a discerning, style-conscious traveller.
We know Spain well, and we take genuine pleasure in helping our clients find the right corner of it, whether that's a poolside suite on the Costa del Sol, a clifftop villa above the Ibizan sea, a converted finca in the Mallorcan hills, or a first-rate city hotel in Madrid or Barcelona. Tell us what you're looking for, and we'll find it.

FAQs
It depends on your destination. For the Costa del Sol and Marbella, April to October offers reliably warm, sunny weather, with July and August the hottest and busiest. For the Balearic Islands (Ibiza and Mallorca), the season runs roughly May to October, with June and September the sweet spot for warmth without peak-season crowds. Barcelona and Madrid are enjoyable year-round for city breaks, with spring and autumn most pleasant. Even November to March can be mild on the Costa del Sol, many guests visit for golf in winter.
Both are excellent, but they deliver very different experiences. Ibiza has more energy, nightlife, and a style-conscious, fashionable crowd, even its most exclusive hotels feel plugged into the island's distinctive atmosphere. Mallorca is more varied and arguably more sophisticated, dramatic mountain scenery, excellent walking, a superb restaurant scene in Palma, and hotels that range from boutique Deià retreats to large-scale beach resorts. For a quieter, more scenically beautiful island, Mallorca tends to win. For those who want the Ibiza atmosphere with five-star comfort, 7Pines or Nobu Hotel Ibiza Bay are hard to beat.
Absolutely. Marbella's Golden Mile, the stretch between the town centre and Puerto Banús, is one of Europe's premier luxury resort areas. The Marbella Club and Puente Romano are both world-class properties with beach access, outstanding dining, and a long tradition of excellence. The surrounding area offers excellent golf, a charming old town, and easy access to Sotogrande. For a sun-guaranteed beach break with genuinely first-rate hotel options, the Costa del Sol is hard to beat.
UK passport holders can visit Spain (part of the Schengen Area) for up to 90 days in any 180-day period without a visa. From 2025, travellers will need to register under the ETIAS pre-travel authorisation system, a simple online process similar to the US ESTA. We'll advise on current entry requirements when you book.
