Luxury Collection
Where Rainforest Meets the Ocean
Costa Rica is one of those rare destinations that manages to be genuinely extraordinary on multiple levels simultaneously. The biodiversity here is staggering, this tiny country holds around 5% of the world's species in just 0.03% of its land area. Volcanoes, cloud forests, Pacific and Caribbean coastlines, thermal springs, and some of the world's most pristine national parks sit within hours of each other.
What has changed in recent years is the quality of the luxury accommodation. Properties like the Four Seasons Peninsula Papagayo and Nayara Springs have established Costa Rica as a genuine contender among the world's finest eco-luxury destinations. The concept of pura vida, pure life, extends here into hospitality: unhurried, warm, and deeply connected to the natural environment that surrounds every property.
A luxury Costa Rica holiday is not about lying on a beach doing nothing (though that is absolutely an option). It's about the extraordinary privilege of waking to howler monkeys, spotting scarlet macaws from your infinity pool, soaking in volcanic hot springs by night, and watching sea turtles nest on empty beaches. We'll plan an itinerary that captures as much or as little of this as you want.

FAQs
December to April is Costa Rica's dry season, the most popular time to visit with less rain, sunnier days, and lower humidity. The Pacific coast in particular is at its best from January to March. The green season (May–November) brings heavier rain but also lower prices, lush vegetation, and excellent wildlife watching, many travellers actually prefer it. December and Christmas are peak and should be booked well in advance.
We recommend a minimum of 10–12 nights to do Costa Rica justice, particularly if you want to combine two or three regions. A typical luxury itinerary might spend 3–4 nights at the Four Seasons Papagayo, 3 nights at Nayara Springs/Arenal, and 3–4 nights at a Pacific coast or Osa Peninsula property. You can do a focused 7-night trip to one or two areas if time is short.
No. UK passport holders can visit Costa Rica for up to 90 days without a visa, you simply need a valid passport (with at least 6 months validity), a return ticket, and proof of sufficient funds. Entry is straightforward and hassle-free.
Costa Rica is one of the safest countries in Central America and a very well-established tourist destination. The luxury hotel areas, Peninsula Papagayo, Arenal, Manuel Antonio, the Osa, all have excellent safety records. Standard travel precautions apply in urban areas, but guests staying at high-end properties with private transfers experience very few issues. We always brief clients on the latest advice before they travel.
